Ethics of Research

Ethics in Academia will explore ethical dilemmas that arise in the academic environment such as:

  • The morality of informing on classmates or professors who commit honor violations
  • First publication rights
  • Ethical Research
  • Other relevant issues that arise out of discussion
Reviewing these types of questions also lead to meta-ethical questions, such as how different ethical systems view these issues in different ways and how culture plays a part in shaping ethical dispositions.
